Days, months, and seasons are common time words used in everyday English. We use them to talk about schedules, dates, events, holidays, and different times of the year. In this lesson, you’ll learn the days of the week, the months of the year, and the four seasons with example sentences.
Days of the Week
There are seven days in a week. In English, the names of days always begin with a capital letter. Monday to Friday are usually called weekdays, while Saturday and Sunday are the weekend. We usually use on before days of the week, such as on Monday or on Friday.
